■About Matsui Pure Malt Whisky The Kurayoshi Rabbit-Label 2023 Special Release
This is the second edition after the series of Zodiac label「Kurayoshi Sherry Cask 5 Years -Tiger Label-2022」
Hakuto Beach, the East part of Tottori prefecture where said to be the location of the Japanese myth 「The White Rabbit of Inaba」and the label was imaged of the jumping rabbit on the seaside.
And the label is made of Kiryu Ori, the same as last time which makes our whisky stands out the most.
■About Kiryu-ori
Kiryu-ori is a textile produced in and around Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture.
Kiryu-ori has a history of more than 1000 years, and the traditional seven-way weaving technique gives a soft feel and luster, and is widely used in everything from luxury kimono to clothing accessories.
■About Kurayoshi Distillery
Kurayoshi Distillery is based in Kurayoshi City, Tottori prefecture, Japan, producing Whisky, Gin, and Umeshu (Japanese Ume Plum Liqueur). Matsui Whisky brand, such as The Matsui Single Malt Whisky, and “Kurayoshi (City)”,“Tottori (Prefecture)” and “San-in (Region)” named after the hometown, is now widely available in over 60 countries.
